Install a package's dependency tree and system requirements via uvr

run_uvr_install.Rd

Pre-installs any patched binaries, generates a uvr.toml from the package's DESCRIPTION, pins the R version with write_r_version_pin(), resolves a lockfile with uvr lock, and installs dependencies plus their system requirements with uvr sync --install-system-deps into the active build library. On a non-TTY (CI / build container) uvr installs the system packages without prompting.

Arguments

clone_dir

Directory containing the target package source (with its DESCRIPTION).

library

Library to install dependencies into; defaults to the active build library .libPaths()[1].

patched_repo

Optional patched-binary repo to pre-install first.

patched_packages

Packages whose patched binaries are pre-installed, or NULL for all of them; see install_patched_into_library().

Value

Invisibly TRUE.
